Based on the theme of ‘Transformation’ this artwork was inspired by my passion for the natural world and my collection of local forest and flora photography. I have brought these images to life using experimental 3D embroidery and weaving techniques. The hanging technique creates a floating effect enhancing the shadows through the piece.
